DosterLove

Woke up singing this song this morning… <3

And now the weak say I have strength
By the spirit of power
And now the poor stand and confess
That my portion is served and I’m more than blessed

And now our hearts burn with a flame
A fire consuming all for your son’s holy name
And with the heavens we declare you our king
We love you Lord
We worship you
You are our God
You alone are good.

And now your church shine as the bride
That you saw in your heart as you offered up your life
And now the lost being welcomed home by the saved and redeemed, those adopted as your own

And now our hearts burn with a flame
A fire consuming all for your son’s holy name
And with the heavens we declare you our king
We love you Lord
We worship you
You are our God
You alone are good.
You asked your son
To carry this
The heavy cross
Our weight of sin
I love you Lord
I worship you
Hope which was lost
Now stands renewed
I give my life
To honour this
The love of Christ
The Saviour King

13 weeks <3

Haven’t blogged consistently since I was preggers withs Eislee. But I guess its what I do when I’m pregnant so here goes :) I am now 13 weeks & doing good! Had my first Doctors appointment 3 weeks ago and got to see the little peanut and its heartbeat. & My next appointment is next Tuesday :)

First and only craving so far is grilled peppers from ‘La Morenita’. I tried them for the first time like 3 weeks ago and on my birthday last week when asked what I wanted that’s all I said. “Gimme Peppers” ha ha I heart spicy. Like last time I’ve had tons of avocado, but I will let you know of more silly cravings as they come along :)

little bump & new comfy shoes.

Although life is different for us this go round, living with Brians parents, & he’s full time student. We are very excited & thankful & blessed.

xoxo, Lea

My first 5k.

Everyone in my family runs. So when we moved back to my home town where my sister and her family live as well as my parents, I had to join in the family run club, ha.

Nothing to crazy. Before I could barely run 1 mile, I haven’t really done much excercise since high school. I started slow and just added a little to my distance each time I ran so I would be ready becauuuusee my mom signed me up for a 5k! Its only 3.2 miles :) But I was ready and trained for it and had a goal of 40 mins.

The day of the run I was really nervous, but I did it and my time…(drum roll) 28.57!!

I was so shocked & so proud. And it felt so good! It was a fun day and I cant wait to do more. I am now planning to do a 10k next month, I don’t feel like ill be ready but we’ll see! Most importantly I am exercising and it feels great!

Potty Training Break.

Last week we started potty training Eislee. The first two days were amazing. She kept pooping on the potty and leaving her diapers dry, it was great. It seems though that as each day went on it got harder and harder to get her to go on the potty. That past two days have been the worst. It’s like she is just waiting for us to put a diaper back on and she holds it until we do so.

Meanwhile naps have been disappearing. She’s only napped two days this last week and was a miss cranky pants every evening she didn’t get a nap. All this to say, Brian and I are a bit exhausted from this last week (I also ran my first 5k, which I will blog about soon) and so is Eislee. We are taking a Potty Break. Which I believe there is nothing wrong with, we’re starting early so its aloud :) . We know potty training isn’t easy, not for everyone at least. We will come back to it in a couple weeks :)

I’ll update when we get back on the potty training.

Happy Memorial Day by the way :) Hope you all are having a relaxing day.

 Here I am back to blog after way to long. I’m not going to say “Where should I begin?” because I don’t have an answer, I’m just going for it. In the past 6 months I probably have thought about blogging at at least once a week, but a lot has changed for The DosterLove family. A few weeks after my last post, we moved out of our little house, back to our hometown and in with my in-laws. We have begun a new journey together. Although it is just Brian (my hubby) going back to school, I am ready and prepared to fully support him as he pursues his education to become and RN. I am honestly really excited for him, and for our future. I know the Lord has great things in store for us. Meanwhile our little peanut, not so little anymore, it growing up so fast. 19months already!! & I am enjoying motherhood, and all there is to learn as a mother. I am beyond blessed with the gift of being a mother. Now that Eislee is a toddler, in my opinion things have only gotten easier. There are tough days but I seem to remember the good days more then the bad, and we were blessed with a very good/easy-going girl!! So i get to enjoy a full night sleep at least 3/4 of each month, and nap times are great, I get to nap, be crafty, or just clean in peace everyday for at least an hour hahaaa.

I am on this huge instagram kick, so inspired by a bunch of Mammas snapping photos of their kiddos every moment! I’ve got a long list of fun things I want to do with Brian and Eislee this summer and hope to continue blogging and sharing it with you as we go! I am sorry if this post is a bit of a bore. I’ve realized I am a bit rusty but am really excited to blog again and see where this season of it takes us!

Great is Thy faithfulness, oh God my Father;
There is no shadow of turning with Thee;
Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not;
As Thou hast been, Thou forever wilt be.

Great is Thy faithfulness! Great is Thy faithfulness!
Morning by morning new mercies I see.
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided;
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!

Summer and winter and springtime and harvest,
Sun, moon, and stars in their courses above
Join with all nature in manifold witness
to Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love.

Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth
Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide;
Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow,
Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside!
