Everyone in my family runs. So when we moved back to my home town where my sister and her family live as well as my parents, I had to join in the family run club, ha.
Nothing to crazy. Before I could barely run 1 mile, I haven’t really done much excercise since high school. I started slow and just added a little to my distance each time I ran so I would be ready becauuuusee my mom signed me up for a 5k! Its
only 3.2 miles :) But I was ready and trained for it and had a goal of 40 mins.
The day of the run I was really nervous, but I did it and my time…(drum roll) 28.57!!
I was so shocked & so proud. And it felt so good! It was a fun day and I cant wait to do more. I am now planning to do a 10k next month, I don’t feel like ill be ready but we’ll see! Most importantly I am exercising and it feels great!
